The ‘DateNight’ marks two important premieres: its first-ever mother of pearl dial, and its first use of the intricate marquetry technique. Rectangular filaments of the Australian mother of pearl are meticulously hand-inlaid into the dial, creating an iridescent surface that shimmers and shifts with every movement. For Time+Tide, this watch represents a debut in dress watch territory - and the name says it all.

The ‘DateNight’ is powered by a Swiss-made Ronda quartz movement, ensuring precision and reliability with minimal upkeep. The 37 x 33mm diameter case, sitting just 6mm off the wrist, is the Goldilocks size for unisex wear. Its slate grey suede strap, crafted by Belgian strapmakerMolequin, is celebrated for its supple, pre-worn style comfort and meticulous finishing. A super-slim white leather strap is also available for a lighter, more formal look. On the reverse, the caseback reveals a charmingly detailed engraving: the doorway of Time+Tide’s London Watch Discovery Studio, illustrated by the brand’s Australian Studio Manager, Alex Hindley - a subtle nod to the watch’s creative home.
