A New Sense of Proportion

A refined expression of the ALD Collection, the Mini is deliberately restrained, focusing on proportion, material, and colour. Its compact form softens the architecture of the ALD, brings the watch closer to the wearer, creating a more intimate relationship between object and body. This shift in scale is a refinement of presence, enhancing the perception of detail. Less imposing, yet more of a statement.

Material As Forms Of Self-Expression

Central to the ALD Collection is the use of natural stone dials. The Mini continues this expression with Malaysian Pink Jade, Jadeite, Red Jasper, Onyx, Mother of Pearl, Malachite, Tiger’s Eye, Lapis Lazuli, and Aventurine, each introducing a distinct visual identity, defined by organic variation and colour. No two dials are identical; each carries its own depth, texture, and movement, revealed gradually through changing light.

A legacy collection

“As a designer, my goal has always been to create timepieces that reflect both the past and the future of horology.
With the A.L.D. Collection, I wanted to pay tribute to Dennison’s incredible legacy while bringing a contemporary edge that resonates with today’s watch collectors. These watches embody the best of both worlds—heritage craftsmanship and modern innovation.”

Emmanuel Gueit, Designer of the A.L.D.

Maximal Simplicity

Our inaugural ALD Collection continues the Dennison legacy, picking up where it left off in the late 1960s. Inspired by the era’s bold design and modernist minimalism, this collection blends timeless style with functional simplicity, just as Dennison did over half a century ago.

A History of Making History

Aaron Lufkin Dennison, founder of Dennison and co-founder of Waltham, registered patent no. 356 for an air and watertight watch case back in 1872. The rest, as we say, is our history.
