ALD Checker Draw

Draw takes the Checker concept and disrupts its symmetry. A concentrated field of diamonds occupies one side of the dial before meeting an expanse of uninterrupted black, creating an intentionally off-centre composition. Where Balance is horizontal and Gambit is perfectly divided, Draw introduces tension: the two surfaces appear to compete for space, giving the watch a sense of movement despite the starkness of its geometry.

That contrast is reinforced by the diamond-set case, which carries the brilliance of the dial outward and makes the case itself part of the composition. Against this continuous setting, the black section becomes even more pronounced, creating negative space within an otherwise highly decorative object. Draw captures the more unconventional side of the Checker Collection using asymmetry, material and contrast to turn a familiar visual language into something distinctly Dennison.
